DUI Insurance Implications

Insurance companies have the choice of declining coverage to somebody who has been convicted of drunk driving. There are companies that will assure high-risk drivers, and it is crucial that all drivers carry responsible amounts of coverage. A driver convicted of DUI must file an SR22 proof of insurance form in order to get their suspended driver’s license reinstated. This form supplies proof that the driver has gotten vehicle insurance meeting bare minimum liability requirements.
